Ladies Section
The Ladies Section came to Sudbury in 1920 from Acton Golf Club which was established in 1897. From the onset of the new Sudbury Club, the ladies were shareholding members thus having a voice in the running and organisation of the Club.The section has flourished throughout its history, participating in and regularly hosting County events.The section is thriving but always welcomes new lady members of all standards. Arrangements can be made for those new to golf including junior girls. Ladies may play at any time during the day and in addition tee times for Ladies are available for medals and competitions both on Tuesdays and at week-ends. The Ladies' Quarters have recently been refurbished providing excellent changing and locker facilities.
